Denim // Colour

If red was my colour at the start of this year, the current change in seasons has left me with a serious love for light but bright colours mixed with denim. Over the past month I’ve seen denim & double denim on the rise and I saw this as a calling to pull my vintage Levi’s denim jacket out from my closet.

I’ve had a love/hate relationship with double denim & denim jackets, so when I first started reading blogs about people who were falling back in love with denim I was wary of jumping straight on the bandwagon. I recently purchased a summer hoodie from Next and after seeing a scout sixteen post with the tip of ‘double up’ I took a risk on my way out of the house and threw my jacket over the top. I can tell you all day wearing it I felt awesome I paired it with a cap from H&M, black Levi jeans & Adidas superstars. By far the best outfit I’ve come up with for a while. It left me with a real feeling of spring & freshness (is that even a word??) that I haven’t got from my outfits in a while.
