When I first saw this collection in an article I wasn’t too impressed by it, because the article had written in such an average and dull way. So when I actually saw the suits in Topman Leeds it’s fair to say I was gobsmacked.
They.
Are.
Beautiful.
The cut, the style, the fit, everything about them is near perfect. June/July in the UK are the months when years 11,12 & 13 have their end of year prom and I’m so gutted that my prom isn’t until next summer because if I rocked up to prom in one of these suits I’d feel so chic and fresh.
While still looking like a classic suit, the Charlie Casley-Hayford x Topman collection has a really modern vibe that I haven’t seen anywhere before; from the maroon skinny wedding suit to the white and black skinny occasion suit and the velvet teal skinny occasion suit (my absolute favourite piece from the collection) and the Japanese printed wrap Kimono which is currently sold out. The whole vibe of the collection is voguish and rather harry styles-esque, I love it!
If I had the chance, these suits would make their way into my wardrobe asap, but unfortunately I don’t, however I do advise you all to at least take a look at them in store, you won’t regret it.
